I just received a pdf proof for any final edits. I have also redesigned our blog page and will be adding more video interviews with Victor in the next few days and weeks. If you have not seen the cover yet, here it is. We will not be able to publish our digital copy in Germany, Austria and Switzerland because of the Swastika on the cover. The digital formatting for all major epub devices is also under way.

Well friends, I have a copy of the book cover (sorry, no sneak peeks yet). Today I finished all the placement of interior photos and some minor text editing ( new and final chapter). Tomorrow it goes off to cyberspace to the printer for final formatting.) Also got permission from a good friend, Duane Tucker, to use part of a poem for a title section of the book. The poem was just written, not published yet. Glad to have read it before final printing. Stay tuned.

Well, Chanukah and Christmas have passed. Tomorrow is Holocaust Remembrance Day. The delay has been for a good purpose and allowed for even a better final manuscript. Hoping that this weekend is delivery to the printer day for formatting.
November 25, 2011
I am back from three weeks in the Philippines and caught up with business at home.
Next week I will begin final edits for formatting the manuscript.
We had our manuscript analysis done and these are some of the results:
......"You’ve done a fine job with this narrative. I’m sure it’s a big undertaking and your loved ones will be eternally grateful. And really, for the most part, it’s genuinely engaging and heartfelt. I wish you the very best with this project. It’s a fascinating taste of Jewish culture and faith."
Once formatted, it will take about two weeks to get to print after a galley copy is reviewed by me.
So, we may be in print and ready for distribution by Chanukah and Christmas.
September 29, 2011
We have made our photo choices and will be converting them for publication.
Victor has just returned home from a trip to Israel.
I have about 35 pages to go in the proofreading/editing process.
By this time next week, I hope to have the manuscript submitted for analysis which comes before final formatting.

If you would like a sneak peak go here Diana Kay Lubarsky I will not reveal which images will be in the book. It is a work in progress. David's studio is in NYC. David Lubarsky
With all the interesting additions, we are projecting an in print date for the book around the second week of November. (I will be out of the country in the Philippines from mid-October to Nov. 1) You can also follow the project on our Facebook page. A Rage To Live
August 15, 2011
We finished the content part of the book.
We are now working with a project co-ordinator for pre-publishing necessities.
Our hoped for date is by the first week of October, 2011
Video interviews will be posted soon.
Update August 4, 2011
I will be in Florida from the 7th-13th of August.
We plan to finalize our content for the book.
Then do final editing, formatting and so with a view to publish by October 2011.
In the days to come I will be uploading some video sessions of interviews with Victor and his friend Paul Gast who also survived the Lodz Ghetto and the camps and was one of The Boys.
The book will be available directly from us via TOLIFE...INK, Lulu, Amazon and other sources.
I will keep you updated.
Update April 4, 2011
I am in Florida for another week with Vicdtor.
We should get the final "raw" material ready for the book.
Did an interview with Paul Gast today, that will be included. Paul is an accomplished lecturer on the Holocaust, and one of The Boys. He is pictured below.
The working title I have assigned to this interview is Perspectives on Teaching The Holocaust: It is More than History Past.
Update: March 5, 2011
January week accomplished much.
I will be adding some more video clips as I edit and convert them.
Victor and I will be spending another week together writing and possibly finalizing the basic manuscript from April 3-9. We will also be meeting with Paul Gast.
Update: December 19, 2010
I will be with Victor in January for one week including International Holocaust Remembrance Day.
November 23, 2010
I just returned from spending another week with Victor the week of November 9-14
We worked on editing and adding new material for the book and made some decisions about publishing.
We have expanded the chapter on his life in Lodz prior to the invasion.
We decided what new material to add from the time he was in England to his early years in America, his marriage to Lucille, his education and starting a business.
I think we may be ready for publication by early March. I am planning another trip, possibly in late January during Holocaust Day week, for us to finish our editing and cover design and finalize our publishing options.
On this visit, I had the pleasure of spending some more time with Paul Gast and meeting his wife Edith, as well as another survivor , Louise and Victor's friend Judy, whom I have met before. Judy was the wife of Julek Zylberger who survived the camps with Victor. Judy was a young girl during the Holocaust in Hungary and escaped Hungary during the revolution of 1956. You will read about the shared experiences of Victor, Julek and another long time friend and survivor, Adek Wasercier.
New pictures, interviews for later transcribing for the book and some video for posting online (coming soon)
